My son was tutored by Rachael for 18 months. We had never used a tutor before so we were unsure of what to expect. Rachael made both myself and most importantly our son feel very welcome and at ease. Rachael supported him with his Maths and his English. The improvement he made whilst with Rachael was fantastic. I would totally recommend Rachael as a tutor.

When Rachael first started teaching me flute, the majority of her students were children in years 6 and 7, so I was slightly concerned about being an “older” student! Fortunately I had nothing to worry about. She has endless patience and is 100% invested in her student’s development. Her pride in your progress is inspiring and she genuinely cares about getting you to a level where you can take the same pride in your own abilities. She will quietly train you to a level above and beyond what you need at each stage, doing wonders for your confidence when you sail through the exam!
I’ve just completed Grade 1 flute and she is (quite rightly) encouraging me to take Grade 2 and further.
My daughter has been coming to Rachael for flute lessons for just over a year now. She is thoroughly enjoying her lessons with Rachael who is extremely patient with a chatty 9yr old! She sets her lessons out well and gives praise throughout including stickers – all kids love getting stickers! She plays alongside her and explains each part of the song in great detail making it easier and more fun to learn. I would thoroughly recommend Rachael to any parent who wants their child to learn flute from scratch as she is an all-round great teacher.
We just want to say how pleased we are with the support you have given Abby over the last few years, which has culminated in her achieving excellent SATS results. It’s been fantastic to see Abby’s confidence, ability and desire to learn grow so much over the time you have been tutoring her.
